Anheuser-Busch stock (BUD) has performed fairly consistently over the last 20 years. A $5,000 investment in 1986 would have been worth a little over $75,000 at the end of 2006. However, there has been a shift into micro brews and wines from the traditional beers which has hurt Anheuser-Busch a little bit. We will have to see how (BUD) responses to this changing environment.
