Anheuser-Busch stock (BUD) has performed fairly consistently over the last 20 years.  A $5,000 investment in 1985 would have been worth close to $200,000 after the InBev merger.  On November 18, 2008, InBev completed its acquisition of Anheuser Busch at a price of $70.00 per share.  It is strange to think that such an American icon as Budweiser in now owned by a foreign company, but the one thing that has always remained constant is change.  This acquisition is just part of the process of change.
