Intel Corporation (INTC) has been around as a public company much longer than I realized.   Since 1976, Intel Corporation has had 11 stock splits with six of them coming before 1987.  As a result, Intel has produced some excellent long term returns.  A $5,000 investment in Intel at the beginning of 1975 would have resulted in a holding of nearly 8 million dollars at the end of 2017.  However, a $5,000 investment at the beginning of 2000 would only be worth a little less than $8,000 at the end of 2017.
All calculations assume all dividends are reinvested to purchase additional shares. Taxes and commissions are not factored into calculations. Data is property of 1stock1 and written permission must be granted before redistributing any data (in part or in whole).
