Disclaimer/Contact Us
Home Depot, Inc. (HD) has had an incredible 30 + years of existence.  If you would have purchased $5,000 worth of Home Depot the day of its initial public offering (IPO) on September 23, 1981 you would have accumulated well over 7 million dollars by the end of 2011 through dividends, stock splits, and price appreciation.   In fact, since Home Depot's IPO it has had 13 stock splits.  However, most of these stock splits came during Home Depot's (HD) early years.  The last stock split was at the end of 1999.  Since that last split, Home Depot's stock has produced a mix of investment gains and losses through the end of 2011.
