Oracle Corporation (ORCL) has had some very good longer term returns, but the tech bubble bust around the turn of the century has hurt Oracle's return since then. However, ORCL stock has started to improve returns for shareholders in the past few years, including starting a quarterly dividend in 2009. Unfortunately, I doubt Oracle will ever be able to duplicate its return from the 80's and 90's when its stock split an amazing 10 times between 1987-2000.
